Upon reaching, the guide, Mr qian introduce the company history and how fiber-optic cable was being made from the factory. Mr. Chua, our teacher, who is one of the in charge for the whole Wuhan trip was helpful to become an English translator throughout the trip around the factory.
An optical fiber is a glass or plastic fiber that carries light along its length. Which permits transmission over longer distances and at higher bandwidths than other forms of communications. Fibers are used instead of metal wires because signals travel along them with less loss, and they are also immune to electromagnetic interference. Fiber optic was being cut at the length of 250km and was tested for quality, if the fiber optic could withhold 9Newton. Company could also request for shorter length of the optical fiber.
The trip ended at around 12pm. We have break for about 4 hours before our APPG theory test. During these 4 hours, we spent eating our lunch and spent about 2 hours sleeping in the hostel. I didn’t study much before i went for the test at 4pm. Opps!! haha.
Anyway, i hope the test would turn out fine. Went for eat the fried huge chicken drumstick, which was sold at canteen 3 as an effort to help me release my stress. Weather today was dam cold, as we breathe, smoke was coming out.... soooo cold.. Ran all the way back to hostel.
As for dinner, i ate pig intestine noodle from the roadside stores outside our school, as we are waiting for the food to be cook. BOOM!! There is fireworks in the air, the location of the fireworks were so near to us. it is about the distance of 7 car length. It was freaking dangerous I thought at that moment. I wouldn’t want to go back Singapore missing any body parts. Phew!!
i will take this studying method in consideration. hmm.
